I am a researcher interested in the problem of quantum gravity. In 1999 I had an idea that the number of symmetries of the Monster Sporadic Group could be calculated because 10^54 is not that far from the important 10^40 range of dimensionless constants. If it involved the Planck mass then perhaps a quantum gravity would not be far behind. Although the initial approach was not well motivated, it involved calculating the symmetries of the Monster Sporadic Group as a dimensionless quantum expression of mass-energy. Inherent in the equation is a modular function Mpl^2/mn^2 (Mpl-planck mass, mn-neutron mass) which is related to a binary inspiral of two neutrons on a conformal metric (CFT) which generates gravitational energy in its operator phase space. The modular function encodes the ratio of the electromagnetic strength to the gravitational strength which is 1.6889 x 10^38. The bonus is that the square root of this ratio is a Yang-Mills symmetry which carries the circle group U(1) as a Kaluza-Klein massless mode. It appears that nonperturbative contributions are the local string couplings g = ~744 which are directly related to the hauptmodul j(t) -744 which is the generator for a genus 0 Riemann surface over which the Monster acts. The scalars of the theory arise from higher dimensional terms more specifically 5D which suggests the AdS/CFT correspondence. Most importantly, we have discovered a related object in the very deep Ultraviolet. This object is a spectral curve which describes correspondences in the AdS thermal and the AdS gravitational. We have a dual form of the equation. One is the gravitational symmetry and the history of the Large N black hole in regard to the Hawking path integral and the finite Large N solution where we have the precise finite partition functions. These involve the deconfining Hawking-Page transitions. This includes gravity in the 5D bulk. The other form of the equation deals with the thermal confining transitions of a consistent gauge theory on a conformal 4D boundary leading up to gauge boson unification at 1.64 x 10^16 GeV. In addition we have a signature exponentially defined spacetime to match. As a consequence of just looking for a theory of quantum gravity we have found a QFT/ST. This leads to the finding that the conformal Einstein metrics emerge from the N quantum matter-fields described by intervals of point transitions (instantons). Finally, the gauge fields are carried by the Nambu-Goldstone mechanism produced in the massless neutron mixing. The result is that a wealthy condensation of Higgs physics follows with phenomenological predictions that indicate the theory is describing the MSSM range of models. The theory is the result of the Monster group being a hidden symmetry related to Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and moduli space in the supersymmetric potential. The theory is finite, UV complete and in the low-energy limit can be defined as the N =8 SUGRA which is the tensor product of two N =4 Super Yang-Mills theories built from two copies of the Monster group . Large quantum numbers in the limit give the classical and semi-classical fields of the Hamiltonian which is the framework for the seven eigenstates of a Bohr Correspondence. Mark Thomas
